Backup Reminder

Quickbooks Premier Contractor 2019.

When I log off, Quickbooks almost always reminds me to make a backup. I have my own backup reminder system and do not want this one popping up in front of me all the time. How do I get rid of it?

Backup Reminder

I can help you with getting rid of the backup reminder, @Bev0aks.

You can go to your create backup options to turn this reminder off.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the File and select Back up Company.
  2. Click on Create Backup and select Options
  3. On the Backup Options page that appears, uncheck the Remind me to back up when I close my company file checkbox.
  4. Click on OK to save.

Check this article for more information about creating and setting up automatic backups: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

Then, here's how to use your backup company file: Restore a backup of your company file.

If you need further assistance with your backup file, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm always here to help.
