Somehow on March 1, at 12:06 pm, it looks like I mass deleted like 50 invoices, all within 60 seconds!
However, I DIDN'T do this, I was in a meeting and no one else uses my log in. Has anyone else had this happen??? How the heck can I restore all of them from QB Online?
Help has arrived, @brefazio.
I'd like to ensure that you'll be able to enter the deleted invoices again in QuickBooks Online.
To start with, you'll need to verify if there are other users, which happen to use your log-in and deleted the invoices. This way, you can identify who made the modifications to your account since you've mentioned that you didn't remove the transactions yourself.
On the other hand, to restore the invoices, you can check the Audit Log and take note of the invoice's information. After that, you'll have to manually enter them into the system.
To guide you in navigating the Audit Log, you can always refer to these steps below:
Once done, you can enter the invoices again like you normally do.
Let me know if there's anything else that you need. I'm always here to provide further assistance. Have a nice day!
I've used desktop version for 30 years but my current job uses online version, so I've been using it for 2 years. I HATE it. The features are limited and we have no control of our data. The customer support for when Quickbooks Online has a malfunction, which I've experienced TWICE in one year, is horrendous!
If I have to re-input all our account data that QBO "lost", I am going to be furious!
Customer service guy, 15 minutes on the phone with, said it was an issue with QBO and he was sending it to engineering department but I did not receive confirmation from engineering dept as to my case number. However, my QBO account ID is Company Name Removed, Inc
(Number removed by Moderator)
Brenda (Last Name Removed)
Thanks for getting back here, @brefazio.
As much as I want to check the status of your case, however, since Community is a public forum, we cannot check your account for security reasons. I recommend, reaching out to our QBO care team again. I know you have already contacted them, but they are the ones who can verify the status of your case and can pull up your account in a secure place. To do so, please refer to these steps:
You can also seek self-help articles on our QuickBooks help articles page to help you get your QuickBooks task done in no time.
Feel free to post here again if you need further assistance about this. I'm always around to help. Have a good one.
It's been SEVEN days and QBO still hasn't restored our data that they deleted on March 1 at 12:06 pm. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED?!?! I am out of patience!!
I'd love to have the ability to restore OUR OWN DATA. Quickbooks Online SUCKS!
