Calculated recurring bill

How can I create a calculated recurring bill based on monthly sales? I pay a 7% franchise royalty fee based on monthly sales and would like to ACH the amount via the QBO bill pay.

Calculated recurring bill

QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't directly calculate bills based on sales figures,  Jim05. However, I know a way for you to track it accurately in QuickBooks.

 

To create a calculated bill based on monthly sales, manually enter the equivalent amount on the transaction. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Recurring transactions.
  2. Click on New, and choose a bill from the dropdown.
  3. Enter the necessary details and click on Save template.

 

To process your payment via ACH using Bill Pay, navigate to the Expenses & Bills section, locate your bill, and select Schedule Payment.
