Can efiled 1099s via QBs be reviewed to 'print to file' for our company records.

Hello terryl2!

Yes, you can view and print the previously filed 1099 in QuickBooks Online. I'm here to show you how to do it:

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll tax menu, then 1099 filings.
  2. Select View 1099 to view a PDF copy.
  3. Click the Print button.

Also, you can log in to your 1099 E-File Service account. From there, you'll see all your electronically submitted 1099s so you can review, download, and print them.

You can check this article to learn more on how to handle 1099 concerns: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online. This includes details if you need to make corrections or submit a new set of 1099.

I'm more than happy to work with you again in handling your forms. Want to record invoices or other transactions? Let me know and I'll get back to you again.

To print a copy: Go to your Intuit Online Payroll Full Service company and select the Tax Records tab. Click the  arrow next to the year of the form you want to print. Select the form to print.

Thank you for replying, Arnette. I guess the problem is that we don't have QBs payroll service. I called QBs 1099 for support and they were able to direct me. Go to Taxes on left menu and select 1099 Filings. There it shows the filing status and you can print copies of each individual 1099.

Hello Alex V. Thank you for responding to my inquiry. We don't have QBs payroll so the process for me is different.

1) Go to Taxes on left margin

2) Select 1099 Filings

3) Print pdf versions and see status of e-filing.

Is it possible to get a copy of the 1096 e-filed with the IRS, too?

I appreciate your input.
