I am still using QBD 2020 Prem
Is there an option to copy an invoice template into a credit note template?
I would not want to create the credit note template from scratch if I don't have to.
Does anybody know of a way how to do this?
Thanks
I should have mentioned that I was in the template editor, there is a copy function, but the new copy is of the same type (thus an invoice).
And I did not see any option for a save as where I could have changed the template type to credit note
Hello there, goebel.
I see the advantages of being able to copy an invoice template into a credit note template in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). However, we're unable to perform this action.
Moreover, you can explore our QuickBooks Desktop app center to find a third-party application that supports creating credit note templates or enables direct copying of invoice templates to credit notes. Below are the steps to guide you through the process:
I've also provided this reference for you to know which type of template customization options are available: Use and customize form templates.
