Hello there, goebel.
I see the advantages of being able to copy an invoice template into a credit note template in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). However, we're unable to perform this action.
- Go to the Help menu in your company file.
- Select Send Feedback Online and choose Product Suggestion.
- Click the Send Feedback button.
Moreover, you can explore our QuickBooks Desktop app center to find a third-party application that supports creating credit note templates or enables direct copying of invoice templates to credit notes. Below are the steps to guide you through the process:
- Go to Apps for QuickBooks Desktop.
- From the QuickBooks Compatibility section, choose the QuickBooks Desktop version you're using.
- Type in the clue word of the specific app you're looking for.
- Click the magnifying glass to search.
I've also provided this reference for you to know which type of template customization options are available: Use and customize form templates.
