Can I export Inventory without exporting all our banking info? QB's Desktop Premier MFG version

Hello,

We are selling all of our inventory to another company. I'm not sure how this will work. He has QB's Premier Mfg version 2022, we have the version from 2019. Can I export the inventory without exporting all of our banking information? Does anyone know what will be exported with the inventory? Thank you in advance for any help!!

Can I export Inventory without exporting all our banking info? QB's Desktop Premier MFG version

Thanks for checking in with us, SKIPPY08.

We can export all the inventory items through Excel by going to the Item List section. It will not export your banking info and also you can modify the exported items to come up with the data you need. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu.
  2. Select Item List.
  3. On the Excel dropdown, choose Export all Items.
  4. In the Export window, choose whether to create a new worksheet or update an existing worksheet.
  5. Tap the Export button. QuickBooks opens MS Excel. You can edit the information as needed.

You can check out this article for more details about exporting files: Import or export MS Excel files. If you need to export reports, general journal entries, and customer and vendor lists, just follow the steps in this article: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop

Feel free to browse this link here if you need help with managing your business in the software. It'll route you to our general topics with articles.

You can always update us after trying the steps as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. Have a great day ahead.
