Can I get or print an employees w-2 from 2017 that was not archived by company at end of 2017?

Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community. I'd be happy to help share some information about printing the W-2 form for 2017.

Yes, you can create and print the W-2 created for 2017. Let me show you how:

1. On the left pane, select Taxes.
2. At the top left, select the Payroll Tax tab.
3. Choose the Annual Forms link in the Forms section.
4. Select either All Employees or a specific employee name from the drop-down menu provided.
5. Select the W-2, Copies B, C & 2 link, which takes you to the Printable Employee Copies: Form W-2 page.
6. Select the appropriate period from the drop-down menu.
7. Select View to launch Adobe Reader in a new window.
8. Select the print icon on the Reader toolbar.
9. Click Print again.

Please take note that the W-2 copies A & D isn't available for printing in QBOP. You can run the Tax and Wage Summary report, and use it as a reference in filing W-2 copy A. Also, you need to use the paper provided by SSA. 

However if you filed the forms electronically, you can contact our payroll support to get copies B, C & 2. They can use additional tools to access your account and help you get to a resolution quickly.
