Can I upload multiple transactions foreign currency transactions

I tried using Dancing Numbers import tool last August to upload multiple transactions with it's assigned GL coding in GTQ currency to a GTQ currency specified GL bank account. Instead of showing the conversion to the home currency (USD), it uploaded the GTQ amount as both the local and home currency, essentially 1:1. I've seen this in older posts as an issue with other customers. Has this been resolved? I have 1,000+ transactions from prior year to enter.

Can I upload multiple transactions foreign currency transactions

Yes, Trias! You can upload multiple transactions from different currencies.

Before proceeding, ensure that the multicurrency is enabled in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

This feature is necessary for managing and recording transactions in various currencies, as QBO will not recognize or allow connections to foreign currency accounts without it.

Here's how to enable it:

  1. Navigate to Settings, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Advanced.
  3. In the Currency section, click Edit ✎.
  4. From the Home Currency ▼ dropdown, choose your currency.
  5. Select the Multicurrency checkbox and confirm that you understand that you can't undo this option.
  6. Hit Save.

After enabling multicurrency, you can manually upload your transactions, ensuring the file is in CSV format.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions tab, then click Bank Transactions.
  2. Click the dropdown icon, then select Upload from file.
  3. Select Drag and Drop or select Files and choose the file you downloaded from your bank, then hit Continue.
