Can not Find 2023 invoices and have lost customers

I appreciate you sharing your concern with us, Highland Rim. Let me provide information to help locate past invoices and customers added to your QuickBooks account.

Usually, the online system only displays the last 365 days until the current period of the transaction. As long as the entries aren't deleted, you can still access them by going to the All Sales menu and filtering the date range. To do this:

  1. Go to Sales, then select All Sales.
  2. From the Type drop-down, choose Invoices.
  3. In the Date drop-down, enter the date range you want to show.
  4. Then, wait for the transactions to load.

In addition to that, you can review your lists of customers from the Sales section:

  1. Go to Sales and click the Customers tab.
  2. Enter the name of the customer from the Search panel section.

If you've deleted a customer from your lists and want to make them active, you may verify and check their status by following these steps:

  1. Go to Sales, and select Customers.
  2. Near the header of the Action column, select the Settings ⚙ icon.
  3. Enable the Include inactive checkbox.
  4. Find the inactive customer on the list.
  5. In the Action column, select Make Active.

However, if the issue persists, sometimes stored cache files can cause interruptions within the program. You may perform some troubleshooting steps to help rectify the possibility of a webpage issue. Access your account in a private browser to ensure that it runs seamlessly without storing cached data. You may use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If this information is populating successfully, you may go back to your default display program and clear its cache or use a different supported browser.

Moreover, I'm sharing this reference to help you personalize and add specific information on your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

This thread will always be available for any additional queries you may have when managing customer sales transactions. I'll be around whenever you need further help. Keep safe and have a great day ahead!
