Can't use Melio.When I try I see:We’re unable to authorize account.We couldn’t verify account &/or your activity doesn't meet Eligibility Criteria.We've blocked you. Help

I am signed up with QuickBooks Online and also Melio. When I try to use Melio to pay a bill this is the message I get:
We’re unable to authorize your account
Thank you for your interest in Bill Pay powered by Melio. Unfortunately, our team couldn’t verify your account and/or your activity does not meet our Eligibility Criteria outlined in our Terms of Service agreement.

As a result, we’re unable to authorize your activity and have blocked you from using Bill Pay services.

How can I pay bills online and why is Melio doing this? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd like to provide you with some troubleshooting steps to address the issue with Melio. Sometimes, excessive cache accumulation in a browser can lead to unexpected behavior with the product, which may be causing the error message you're encountering when paying your bills.

 

To isolate the issue, let's open your account in a private window to prevent the browser history from being saved. Please use the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If this works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing the cache. It will also help you remove junk files that slow down your work.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Melio's tech support to investigate if there's an issue on their end causing this behavior. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Apps.intuit.com.
  2. Type in the Melio app in the search bar.
  3. Select the Contact tab or the Support tab.
