Changing time duration to tenths of an hour

This is regarding TSheets entries:  On the time entries page, my teams time shows as hours and minutes.  They want it to show time in tenths of an hour.  How do I change this?

Changing time duration to tenths of an hour

Hi @Sandra211,

Welcome to the Community! I’m so glad you found us. I’d be happy to help with your time entries.  Can you tell me a little more about how you would use the change in format?

Currently, there isn’t an option to adjust to tenths of the hour. You can change it on your Payroll report.

  • Reports>Payroll Report
  • Show hour totals in Decimal
  • Run Report

If this isn’t what you are wanting, or if you have any more questions let me know.

We’re always here to help answer questions, provide tips and tricks, or anything else you may need.

Changing time duration to tenths of an hour

My timekeepers are attorneys.  Attorneys don't bill in hour and minutes, they bill in tenths of an hour.  I realized we can do it on the reports, but it would be more helpful if they could see it when they enter their time.  Why is it available on the report but not the actual entries?  Why can't they match?  Thanks!
