Company Address in Invoice templet

Hi,

I am using Quickbook Pro 2021 desktop version. I just created an invoice templet. in address field, I got the company's legal address except no city name. see attached file. I checked my company's legal name and it shows the city name but city name is not showing on invoice. How can I fix that

I can help you fix the error you've encountered when setting up your invoice template, @Sam shah.

 

It's possible that there are some minor data issues with your company file that's why your company's address is not showing in your invoices fully. Try running the Rebuild and Verify Utility tool to fix possible data damage on your company file.

 

Please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open your company file again.
  2. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities and choose Rebuild Data.
  3. Click OK in the QuickBooks Information window.
  4. Wait until the repair is done. Then, click OK.
  5. Then, go back to the File menu and select Utilities and choose Verify Data.
  6. Click OK if QuickBooks doesn't find any problems. Or Rebuild Now if it finds issues with your company file.

 

If you still get the same issue, let's try running the QuickBooks File Doctor to fix common issues. 

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  2. Select Company File Issues.
  3. Click Quick Fix my File.
  4. Choose OK when it completes and launch your QuickBooks.

Company Address in Invoice templet

I tried that but it did not show the correct address in invoice templet. I contacted Quickbook Tool help desk and he suggested to create a new text box with correct address and delete the text box with wrong address, Place the created text box to replace the deleted box. Walla. it work. Now my customer knows which city they should mail the check.

I followed your recommendations, I got help from Quickbook tool help. Christopher G had suggested to create a new text box in invoice templet with correct address, Delete the text box with incomplete address and replace the correct address text box to the same location on templet.
