I am trying to restore my QB desktop 2023 file to a QB desktop 2020 version. Is this possible?
You can't restore your file on an older version. You will need a workaround to do so.
You're unable to restore QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2023 to the 2020 version, jackhavlin1973. The only exception to this rule is when you're using QBDT Accountant and working in an Accountant's Copy.
