Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community, Melc623. The option of copying a budget from the current year to a different job is unavailable. When copying a budget, you can either import last year's budget or choose to Create a budget from the previous year's actual data option. This copies the existing budget only for that account that has been used.
For more information on creating a budget in QuickBooks Desktop, this link is very informative. Also, I would recommend submitting feedback to our Product Developers about adding this feature. Our engineers love to hear suggestions from our customers to enhance the software for future updates. Here's how:
- Go to the Help tab, then select Send Feedback Online.
- Choose Product Suggestion.
- Enter your suggestions.
- Click Send Feedback.
