Customer Support

Has anyone noticed that QB support is getting worse and worse? As a Proadvisor we no longer can even talk to US based support that can quickly resolve issues. Calling the 888-333-3451 number we are given for Proadvisor support just puts you into the regular QB support. Most of them don't know anything about payroll or other issues that we encounter. Even the QBO help isn't working when you chose Contact Us.

I just had the worst experience with Intuit customer support and will be looking to move to different software.  Does anyone out there have recommendations for small business accounting software with payroll?  I just spent 7 day, went through 5 difference support personnel and spent 7.5 hours on the phone to try and fix an error that is Intuit's issue.  I'm now unable to use direct deposit to pay employees this week EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SUBMITTED THE PROPER PAPERWORK TO GET THE ADMIN EMAIL ADDRESS UPDATED...THREE TIMES over the last 6 months!!!  Tried to be patient with the intuit employees as I'm sure it's frustrating for them as well, but in the end, Intuit does not care about their customers.

Customer support is terrible!!! My husband called to update the email address for the user and they delete WHOLE account. We have been a customer for 25 years and this is what we got. Today is a 3rd day in on the phone with support have an investigation number 70101 and I have 4 cases and I was told it will be fixed and someone will follow up with us. No follow up , no updates .I have to run the Payroll and our account is not active because some " not trained properly " customer representative didn't know what he was doing. Not only that representative canceled subscription, but he deleted the account. How in the world you do that to the person who calls to update the email address on file???!!!

Dealing with Customer Support has been awful. I was told I had a corrupt company file, after many hours and several agents. It went to the next level, they took my company file, which put my accounting on hold for 3 weeks while they "repaired" it. They sent it back, I uploaded it, they closed the case and nothing is fixed. I still have all the same problems and I cannot afford to start over. The entire process took 4 months. I am going to find another accounting software.

Consider purchasing a third-party file repair service. Even if you'll be switching to a different program, you'll still need the fixed company file to migrate.
