Customized invoice template issue

I recognize the importance of removing the "Pay Invoice" option from an invoice. Rest assured, I have the information to accomplish this in QuickBooks Online.

You can turn off the Credit Card for Online Payments by unchecking the box under Edit payment methods within your invoice. Doing this will eliminate the "Pay Invoice" underneath the Balance Due of your invoice.

I've attached screenshots of the new invoice layout and the old one for your visual reference.

Mine doesn't look like that.  I'm having to use an old template because I could not get the new one to have the look I wanted.  When I go to Payment options, and click "Manage" under Payment details, I just get an option to "Learn More" or "Connect" and that's it.  Everything worked perfectly fine until they made those changes that took effect on October 16 that said "QuickBooks Online invoicing is being updated with new functionality".  It has severely limited me instead of making things better and I don't understand why I'm having so much trouble.  This is extremely frustrating!

Let me share some insights about the Pay Invoice option. 

The Pay Invoice feature is the newest update, made to simplify the process of generating and processing payments. This means faster development and easier experience over time. However, some features will not be available on the new version yet. Rest assured, the Product Engineers are working on this to deliver top customer-centered products and services. 

Also, we would love to hear your suggestions about having the option to remove this feature and recommend submitting feedback. This way, we can enhance your experience with QBO and this feature recommendation will be shared with our Product Development team.   

Here's how:  

1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
3. Select Next to submit.
