Yes. You can still integrate your QBDT 2024 into the POS and process sales. However, patches and new service updates won't be available. If you have time, feel free to visit this page to learn more about the changes: QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale discontinuation. Before integrating the two programs, we recommend reviewing the desktop's current setup, and it meets the requirements needed by the POS program. Here's how:
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- On the left pane, choose Integrated Applications then go to the Company Preferences tab.
- From the Applications list, select QuickBooks Point of Sale then select Properties.
- In Access Rights tab, select the option Allow this application to read and modify this company file.
- Select OK in the Properties window, and in the Preferences window.
