Direct Deposit PIN not working, cannot recover by reset

I'm here to help ensure you're able to set up Direct Deposit, jlynch5.

 

I can see that this post is tagged under QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP). If the transaction from your bank statement shows, like $0.42, you only need to enter 42 when confirming the test deposit.

 

When the test deposit fails, you need to re-enter your bank information in QBOP. Doing this will help send another test transaction to your bank statement. Check out the set up direct deposit for employees for instructions and detailed steps.

 

On the other hand, you can reset the Direct Deposit PIN if you're using QuickBooks Desktop Payroll by downloading the PIN request form.

 

You need to prepare the following information below:

 

  • The form must be signed by the Primary Principal or Secondary Principal.
  • The Primary Principal is the person you have assigned as the owner of the company when you signed up for the direct deposit service.
  • Indicate the EIN (Employer Identification Number) of the company that is requesting for PIN change.
  • Photocopy/Picture of any valid government-issued ID.
    Send the requirements to:
         * Fax: 1-520-901-6918
         * Email: TucsonDDService@intuit.com

After sending the requirements your company's Payroll Administrator or Primary Principal can chat us online to get the new PIN.

 

Once you have the new PIN, you have the option to change it so you can easily remember the info when sending payroll.
