For the last month, I've been having an issue with the official Intuit Ebay managed payments integrator. It had stopped working for a bit, then started working again only to fail once more. Word from the grape vine on here says the issue is backend & the engineers are working on it.
I've made several calls to tech support, but none of them even acknowledge the problem or tell me to call ebay to fix it.
The time has come for me to try and make moves to figure this out instead of waiting for it to fix itself "on the backend"
I wanted to reach out and ask, if I were to "disconnect" the App, would it delete/remove the data already recorded when it was working?
My hopes is that perhaps disconnecting and reconnecting could be the fix and might correct the issue.

I'm here to provide some update about the issue. Currently, we are still investigating this unexpected behavior. Our engineers are all hands on deck working together for an immediate fix to sort everything out.
For now, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team so they can keep you updated on any updates about the issue. By doing this, they can add you to the list of affected users and notify you via email of the resolution updates.

Also, I appreciate your response, but it didn't answer my question. I wanted to know what would happen if I disconnected the ebay integrator and tried to reconnect it. Will it in anyway affect the data already in my books?
Is there a chance that may fix the issue?

Let me share additional insights about it.
When you set up the eBay Managed Payments app, it keeps track of all transactions on your eBay account, including sales, refunds, and shipping fees. Any data that's previously recorded in QBO will remain after disconnecting the app. Unapproved transactions will be removed from the For Review tab, though.
As the inquiry is still ongoing, I advise not performing the disconnection at this time. If you want a real-time update on it, I suggest getting in touch with our Customer Support team. They can check on it for you and provide the best answer to your concern.
