Hello dov,
Thank you for posting here in the Community. I want to assist you with any questions you may have about providing discounts.
Based on the information you've mentioned above, you need the Advanced Pricing feature which is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. This feature allows you to offer quantity discounts to customers.
For more insights about Advanced Pricing, I'm adding the article I recommend on this: Use Advanced Pricing.

Thank you so much for your prompt answer. However, I don't have the 'Qty Discount' option. I have 13.0 enterprise.
Hello there, @dov.
Thanks for the prompt response. I’d like to add to this discussion and provide some information about Advanced Pricing in QuickBooks Enterprise.
This feature is available to customers in the U.S with QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum Subscription. You can set up Price Levels to earlier versions, but Price Rules are only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 14.0 and later.
You do have the option to upgrade in order to use Advanced Pricing. Click this link to know more about our updated pricing and features: Purchase QBDT Enterprise.

you have an offer foe 6 months can i buy for 3 years
Hi there, mbarbour.
If you're referring to the software itself, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is good for 3 years. You can also upgrade it annually since Intuit releases the latest version every January.
On the other hand, the Silver, Gold and Platinum plan for the add on support/functionality is based on an annual subscription.

If I turn off advanced pricing, will it also disable the quantity discounts we have set up on the items?
Hello there, @Becky2019.
I'll not disable the quantity discount feature when you turn off the advanced pricing feature in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Thus, you can still continue to use the quantity discount feature. You can check this article for detailed information about the advanced pricing feature: Use Advanced Pricing.

Thank you for this reply. I actually WANT to turn off the quantity discounts as well. We have them entered for thousands of items/parts and deleting all those manually is not practical. Do you have a suggestion for how we can turn off/delete (or even just change the effective date to some time way in the future) all these quantity discounts for the items?
Thank you for your help!
Good morning, @Becky2019.
At this time, there's not a direct way to edit all of the quantity discounts for the items in a batch in QuickBooks Desktop. I'm going to submit feedback to our Product Development Team about bringing in a feature that will allow this to happen. In the meantime, I have a workaround to help make the editing easier for you:
This will help gather your items to one page making it easier to locate and edit the information. For more information about how to edit, add, or delete items, click here.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you! I'm always here to help.
Thank you for that reply.
I have another related question I'd appreciate you addressing for me. We have another business division that is also using advanced pricing. We use sales orders, and partial shipments are common. Often the price calculated by the pricing rules is off by rounding, or sometimes we just decide on a particular sales order to give the customer a different price. And while we can change it to what we want when creating the sales order, anytime someone updates the sales order, QB then recalculates all the line item pricing based on the pricing rules. Is there a way to disable the pricing rules on a particular sales order once it has been created and saved?
Hi there, @Becky2019.
Disabling the pricing rule will affect all the sales orders associated with it. Before disabling this feature, you'll want to ensure there are no other transactions linked with the rule to avoid any issues.
To disable the Pricing Rule, you can follow these easy steps below:
You can also check this article and read the Make a price rule inactive section for more information and detailed steps.
I'm also adding this article for future reference. This link can guide you through the process on removing a credit from an invoice: Remove or unapply a credit from an invoice or bill.
Let me know in the comment section if there's anything else I can help you with. I'll be around to help. Keep safe and stay healthy.
I don't think you understood my question. I don't want to disable the pricing rule in general, I want a way to disable it FOR A PARTICULAR SALES ORDER. We create the sales order, sometimes need to adjust the calculated price, but then when the shipper goes back in to enter the tracking number and saves the sales order or we make any other change to the non-pricing aspects of the sales order, QB recalculates the price again and overrides the adjustments that were made (which reflects the pricing commitments made to the customer on that order). Is there a recommendation on how to best handle that?
Hello there, Becky2019,
I appreciate the additional information. We're unable to disable the pricing rule for a certain type of transaction. The price rule is an item based settings.
I'll be sure to send this feedback to our product developers. We gather data for future feature updates.
I'll be around if you have additional questions.
