Hi there, kakiddy.

The error 81624 means the payment authorization failed. You may have entered an invalid address or the details didn't match with the financial institution. You'll need to check with your bank to make sure that the billing information entered in QuickBooks matches the bank's record.

Once everything is verified and the issue still persists, I suggest logging into your QuickBooks account through a private browser. This will help us determine if the problem is related to the browser's settings.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works via a private browser, I recommend performing a clear cache to remove temporary internet files on your computer. You can click this article to see the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. If not, use another supported browser as an alternative.

Please refer to this article to see instructions on how you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription and make other changes to your account: Update your billing and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to post here anytime. Thank you and take care always.
