Using QB Desktop for Mac 2024
Trying to download my Amex transactions as I've done for years.
Connects to Amex.
Then I get:
There were problems with the account(s) at your financial institution.
Tried with Chase bank and got the same thing. I reconnected to both. Seems like it's a QB issue, not Amex. Anyone else having issues?
Thanks for reaching out about your banking concerns, AVIDPgh. I'll provide some guidance to help you reconnect and successfully download transactions from American Express and Chase.

Amex is working fine for me here. Note that the connection method is Express web Connect now for both Amex and Chase if you haven't connected in a long while. You can see the method you are using by going to the Chart of Accounts, select your Amex or Chase account, choose Edit Account, and then click on Online Settings.
That's how it's set up and it was working fine last month. Now I'm getting a new error:
and when I view connections:
I don't know how to remove the Delegate connection.

Thank you. The new error was from me trying to "fix" it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it working at all.
