Hi there, jillnoel.
Sometimes unexpected behaviors or receiving unusual errors happen when using QuickBooks Point of Sale. To isolate this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps. Beforehand, you'll need to make sure that you’ve created a backup of your data file .
Once done, you can now start the troubleshooting steps by uninstalling QuickBooks Point of Sale from your computer.
Here's how:
After that, rename all Point of Sale folders. That being said, if uninstalling from the server computer or the computer where the POS data file is locally saved, copy the Point of Sale data folder and paste it to the Desktop. Then, install QuickBooks Point of Sale and make sure that your computer meets the system requirements . This way, you’re less likely to encounter any incompatibility issues.
If the issue continues to occur, you can contact our Support Team. they can pull up your account securely and further investigate the cause of the error. For the support's contact information, you can check this article: QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale.
Please know that I'm always here to lend a hand if you have any other QuickBooks or data damage concerns. Wishing you continued success!
Hi ChristieAnn, I have tried your suggestions and my store exchange center is still backed up with 6 transfer files giving me the same error code as in my subject line above. I believer this is beyond something that I can fix myself. How do I go about getting more help from the QB team? Thank jillnoel.
