Exception saving the cache

When we close quickbooks, it takes about 15 - 20 seconds to close and we get a lot of errors in the Windows application log and the quickbooks log?  Anyone else experience this?

 

Here is the QBWin log errors:

Run the Verify/Rebuild Data utility. Did you encounter any error message?

Just ran the verify data.  Said there were no issues with data.

Next step, run the Condense Data utility with any scenario to isolate the problem. Did you encounter any error message?

Hi there, nubyjack. I'll help you troubleshoot errors encountered when using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and ensure seamless navigation.

 

Before proceeding, I'd like to know what QBDT version you're currently utilizing. It will assist me in giving appropriate information and instructions to take.

 

In the meantime, I recommend suppressing the QuickBooks application when opening it. Here's how:

 

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key.
  2. Double-click your QuickBooks program icon.
  3. Hold the Ctrl key until the No Company Open window shows.
  4. Select a company file, then choose Open.

 

We can also repair the software to fix program issues in QuickBooks. To do that, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Reboot the computer and access the Windows Start menu.
  2. Look for the Control Panel by typing it into the search field or by finding it in the list.
  3. Click on Programs and Features and then select Uninstall a Program.
  4. If you can't find Programs and Features, click on Programs instead. Tap Programs and Features.
  5. Choose the program you'll remove from the list and hit Uninstall/Change.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  7. Click on Finish when the process is complete.

 

Moreover, you can back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file moving forward. If you ever run into problems, you can use this to restore your data.
