Font Color

I am using the desktop app for QB Online and it seems like the font is getting lighter by the day.   So much so that I can barely read it.   I have tried to everything and can't seem to make the font darker

I am going blind trying to see it !!!

Sometimes local cache files stored in the app can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why the font keeps on getting darker.

 

Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that will help you resolve this error. To start, let's clear the cache in your app. This way, we can determine if the issue is browser-related.

 

You'll find the instructions for doing so below:

 

  1. Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.
  4. Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening.

If resetting the App Data still doesn't make a difference, I recommend doing a full reinstall of the program. This will ensure that the QuickBooks app installs free of any older version's data or settings. Here's how:

 

  1. The method for uninstalling the App varies based on which version of Windows you're using. Refer to the QBO Windows App Help Guide under the How do I uninstall? section.
  2. Once uninstalled, you'll still need to delete the locally stored settings. Press the Windows key (⊞) on your keyboard, or click the icon (Start) on your screen and type %appdata% (including the percentage signs) in the search bar. Hit Enter.
  3. Look for the QuickBooks folder. If you see a Roaming folder instead, open it first as the QuickBooks folder is contained within. Right-click and Delete the QuickBooks folder. This will be recreated when a fresh version of the app is installed.
  4. Using the guide in Step 1, under the How do I install the app? section, re-install the QBO app based on the instructions for your version of Windows. It's recommended that you allow the program to be placed in the default installation directory (usually C:/ProgramFiles or ProgramFiles (x86)).
