If resetting your PIN yourself didn't work, I suggest contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Help menu. 
2. Press the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
3. Click the Contact Us hyperlink/button. 
4. Give a brief description of the issue and hit Let's talk. 
5. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback. 

From there, you'll receive an estimated time of when they'll be in touch with you.

No one can seem to help me in getting my PIN reset!  I have been transferred three times only to be told they cannot help me!!!!  I have now wasted an hour.  Super frustrated!!!

That said, I recommend contacting our customer support team. While we're aware you've already reached out to them, you'll need to get in touch again so they can reset your QBDT Payroll PIN. To do that:

1. Go to the Help menu and click QuickBooks Help.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Provide a brief description of your concern, and click Continue.
4. Log in to your Intuit account, select Continue, then Continue with my account.
5. Enter the single-use code you received in your email and hit Continue.
6. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.

Furthermore, QBDT offers several payroll reports you can utilize to obtain information about your business and employees, which is relevant during tax filing.

Before we proceed, could you please confirm if you are referring to resetting the PIN used for processing direct deposits in QuickBooks Payroll? If so, make sure that you have the Admin password for your QuickBooks company file, as this is required to reset your payroll service PIN within the Send Payroll Data window.

Also, please note that the new PIN must be between 8 to 12 characters long and include at least one letter and one number. Special characters are not permitted.

To do so, please see the steps below:
 

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks company file as Admin.
2. Navigate Employees and choose Send Payroll Data.
3. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, select Send.
4. When prompted in the Payroll Service PIN window, click Forgot your PIN?
5. Enter the Admin password for your QuickBooks company file, then OK.
6. Create a new PIN and confirm it. 
7. Hit Submit to save the changes.

On the other hand, if you remember your current PIN but do not have admin access and want to change it, please proceed with Method 2.

Alternatively, if you can’t remember your PIN or are unable to change it in QuickBooks, you'll need to download and complete the Direct Deposit PIN reset form. After completing the form, refer to Method 3 for detailed instructions.

If you're trying to reset the PIN for processing direct deposits, you'll need the Admin password for your company file. As this is needed when you go to reset your payroll service PIN in the Send Payroll Data window.

Also, when you create a new PIN, it needs to be 8 to 12 characters long and must have at least one letter and one number. Just a heads up, special characters aren't allowed.

Here's how to reset your PIN:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Company file as Admin.
2. Go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data.
3. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data page, click Send.
4. In the Payroll Service PIN window, select Forgot your PIN?
5. Enter the company file Admin password.
6. Select OK.
7. Create a new PIN and confirm it.
8. Click Submit.
