Today as I am on vacation I had to call QB regarding a registration issue. Support person gave ID 101.  Call was today November 25 at approximately 1145am EST.  Please pull the recording, I was clearly annoyed and the person I spoke to only agitated the situation, by interrupting me and trying to belittle my knowledge of the technical side of support.  My Question was simple. How do I sync data without having to call support? I didn't receive an answer and only got more agitated when the Rep started becoming combative and uncooperative. I shouldn't have to deal with peoples person opinions or attitudes while trying to solve a problem. 

 

I simply wanted to know if there was a way to not have to contact support every year because I chose to wait until December to download the newest version.  I attempted to sync data online but was unable after 7 days to open company files. This is what I was seeking an answer to and instead ended up losing my cool and hanging up.  This person clearly needs more training to help in the resolution instead of further agitating a client.  I will be looking at Sage and other options for new clients going forward as I don't want to recommend a product that will be lacking in experienced support for my clients.

Also, I'm here to ensure that your data syncing concern is addressed as soon as possible. If a new version of QuickBooks is available, click the Upgrade Now button to get it. If you don't see the prompt, go to the Help menu and choose Upgrade QuickBooks. Any of these steps will save you time because you will no longer need to contact support.

Are you using QBD Accountant edition? What do you mean by online data sync and what does this have to do with registration issues?

QUICKBOOKS ONLINE PAYROLL has stolen money from me.  They have sent a payment to a completely different account, different from the account number they have in the system, and won't give me or my bank any information regarding where the payment went, and have only told me false information in order to get me off the phone.  I have had several over 2 hour phone calls that resolved nothing.
