Fraudulant sale (to me) of QB 2020 Enterprise

On September 29th I was sold a fraudulent version of QB Enterprise.  I am out $3499 and nothing I can do.  Then I spoke with (I think) QB help and they tried to get it sorted, of course they couldn't.  Then I wanted to revert back to QB Enterprise 2021 (I bought a copy of that) and now it won't load and I need help to transfer the files from Enterprise over (maybe that is why it won't load, because I have Enterprise on my desktop.

 

So here I sit, unable to get to Enterprise because it isn't registered to me and unable to get QB Pro 2021 to load - and there is no way to get in touch with a real person at QB.  

 

I don't know what kind of company they are running.  If anyone knows how to contact a real person on the phone.  It would really help.  These cute little online chats keep referring me to the numbers I have called and called, all to no avail and asking me the same questions that I can't answer because the copy I have of Enterprise was stolen and sold to me.

You can have a copy of all the purchases you made from us through the account management site. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to camps.intuit.com.
  2. Under Product & Services, find your product or subscription.
  3. Click Details.

Meanwhile, you can contact our Customer Care Support directly from the Help menu in QuickBooks Desktop. If you're unable to access it, you can follow the steps below to connect with our specialist:

  1. Go to the General Contact Us page.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Click Continue as guest.
  4. Under Select your QuickBooks Desktop version, select Enterprise.
  5. On the What can we help you with? section, select Search something else.
  6. Enter a short description in the Tell us more about your question: field.
  7. Select Search.
  8. Click Message Us.

Thank you for the response.  Maybe you are a real person???

 

I will try all the above (below) tomorrow.  I am exhausted from the run around I get with QB.  They don't mind charging me, but they sure do mind answering questions!  Everyone works from home and simply "can not help", so who can?  Nobody?

 

Whatever you all do, if they have an accent associated with India, DO NOT BUY.  It is fraudulent.  Sorry to all the fine Indian folks that may work lawfully with QB.  But my experience

has been far more than painful (and costly).

You are so kind. I don't know if you work for QB or simply an individual, but I pray your guidance will help. I can honestly say, at this juncture, I would NOT recommend QB to anyone. Everyone that works there is home in their jammies and have no need to help, pass the buck, morning to night. No skin off them. Yes, I am angry, not about the money I spent, but about how uncaring QB seems to be. They get a black star IMO.

I've been at this since 9/29/2020 and I get nowhere, each and every day.

 

I am NOT an accountant and I really don't get most of this, just sayin.

What is the name of the company and their website address?

You have to purchase a service to downgrade a QBD Enterprise file to QBD Pro/Premier file.

Totally agree.

Awful disgraceful company to do business with and only wish there was a healthy alternate.

Got charged by Intuit for two years fraudulently for Online which I did not use and both times after days of threatening to go to AG in my state finally get reimbursed, but then they disconnect my Desktop 20 and cannot find a live person to talk to. Chats with out of country help desk is polite but useless.

What is Desktop 20? Do you mean QB Desktop 2020 Enterprise? It is possible your license is expired and you have to pay the renewal. Check your CAMPS to make sure.
