Buy nowThere's no link or bottom anywhere that I can find to add a new variant. Also tried multiple times through the bulk import without any luck.
I appreciate your efforts in trying to add these Variants and reaching out for support, Jamie.
Currently, the option to manually add new variants directly to a product in QuickBooks is either under development or planned for a future release. You're on the right track by utilizing the bulk import option to add product variants.
To add a new variant to an existing product, ensure that you enter the correct name and description, fill out the necessary fields, and tick the box beside Check this box to overwrite details of existing items with the same name and category when bulk importing.
If it still won't show, I recommend clearing your browser's cache to refresh the website's preferences. Outdated cache files can cause the program to slow down. You can also consider using a supported browser to enhance your QuickBooks experience.

Hi Nicole. Not sure this answers my question. The Product I need to add a Variant for already exists. If I try to create a new Product with the same name, I receive a message saying the name is already being used. If I add " - Variant" to the Product name, it just creates a whole new product, not a variant of that product.
It doesn't seem like QB support is familiar with the new updates. Check out the "Products & Services" section. If you click on an existing product, there are two tabs there - "Details" and "Variants". This question is in reference to "Variants", not setting up new products with text in the name that differentiates each. We were able to bulk import our initial products and variants, now we just need to add a few new variants to some of those products. I tried (with support) to add through bulk import again, but it does not work. Hence the support ticket, which was closed without any resolution.
Hello there, Jamie.
As of now, the ability to manually add new variants directly to a product in QuickBooks is either planned for future release or is currently in development.
It's great to hear that you were able to successfully import your data in bulk, though it seems you're unable to find the option to add new variants within QuickBooks. To add a new variant to a product, you need to follow the same import process as you did initially for products and services.
You need to check the box to overwrite details of existing items with the same name and category. Here's a screenshot below.

Additionally, if the customers come into your business, you don't need to send an invoice. Instead, you can create sales receipts directly.
