Helo QB desktop 2012 says I nees ie6

I understand how challenging this can be, aimee. Let me share some information about the error you encountered.  

This is due to the compatibility issues between QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and Windows 11. The 2012 version is no longer supported. All associated support services have been discontinued as well.  

You may want to consider upgrading to the new QuickBooks version. Doing so ensures you can effectively manage your business and stay on track.  

To upgrade, we can: 

1. When ready, hit Upgrade Now.
2. Choose Keep old version on my computer if you want to keep your current QuickBooks. Then, select Let’s go. QuickBooks downloads, installs, and activates the new version for you. It updates your company file(s).
3. Once done, click Open QuickBooks.  

If you do not receive a prompt to upgrade your QuickBooks subscription, we can go to the Preferences option. 

Perform the following:  

1. Locate the Edit option, and then choose Preferences.
2. Click General, and then select My Preferences.
3. Hit Bring back all one-time messages and then OK.
4. Close, then reopen QuickBooks. You’ll have the prompt to upgrade your QuickBooks subscription.
