Hey, I am From Pakistan and am using QuickBooks online Accountant trying to update my phone number But I can’t receive any codes. I request several times to support. But they are keep declining? Is there any other option please help me.

Hey, I am From Pakistan and am using QuickBooks online Accountant trying to update my phone number But I can’t receive any codes.

I know that this has been challenging for you not getting the verification code to update your phone number, Rehman Ali10.

 

If you are using the QuickBooks Online (QBO) US version, one of the reasons you may not have received a text verification code is that the phone number you entered into your Intuit account was incorrect. Even if you see the correct last four digits of your phone number when you request the code, the rest of the number could be incorrect. To confirm this, sign in to your Intuit account and navigate to the Sign In & Security section. Check the phone number that has been registered. Here's how it's done:

 

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. Click Sign In & Security from the left menu.
  3. Make sure your phone number is correct under the Phone section.

If the phone number is incorrect, change it by clicking the Verify link. Then, return to the Sign in and Security tab, click the Verify link beside the Phone section, and then tap Change. Once done, enter your Password in the field and press Save.

  1. Your phone can receive SMS. Sometimes, if you are roaming or in an area with poor reception, you may experience delays.
  2. Your phone plan allows you to receive messages from short codes (5-digit numbers). Even if you can receive SMS from friends and family, your plan may not allow you to receive SMS from companies that use shortcodes to send you messages. To check if this is the case, contact your mobile operator support number and ask if your plan allows you to “Receive SMS from shortcodes”. If this functionality is disabled, ask your mobile carrier to turn it on to start receiving SMS.

 

If the problem persists, I recommend contacting our support team to assist you further with being unable to receive verification via text message. I know you already contacted our support agents, however, this is the best option we can have to better isolate the issue. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and help you with this one. Here's how:  

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Going to Help (?).
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, for example: then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat, Get a callback, and Ask the Community.
