Hi all, I'm trying to log into QB Pro Advisor but I keep getting an error. Is the site down? Anyone else having similar issues?

Hi Brian,

Thank you for reporting this. We can do some browser troubleshooting steps to check if you're just experiencing some browser issues or just your ProAdvisor account.

We can start by signing in to your QBO company using a private window. This step will disable the extensions and stops the cache from saving your search history.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.

If private browsing lets you sign in without issues, you can clear your browser's cache. If not, please use a different browser to see if this only happens to the one you are using.

Feel free to share an update after doing the steps above. Take care and have a good one.

Hi,

I tried this and it did not work. Essentially, every time I log into QuickBooks, it takes me directly to my business page and bypasses the accountant view, which contains all of the trainings, etc. When I log onto a free account, I can see the options to view the trainings. However, on my subscribed account, I'm still not able to see these.

I have tried your suggestions - it still won't work.  It tries to login and goes around and around and around.

Hi all, I'm trying to log into QB Pro Advisor but I keep getting an error. Is the site down? Anyone else having similar issues?

I appreciate the hurdle you've been through in fixing the login issues in QuickBooks Online, @brian-j-ferrycpa & @cegbert.

Let me provide additional insights to help resolve your problem.

Your browser won't possibly block web pages if you add Intuit URL to your trusted sites list. If you're using a Safari browser, follow these steps:

  1. Access Safari, then type in payroll.intuit.com
  2. Click on Enter.
  3. Choose Bookmarks and click on Add Bookmark.
  4. Click on  Add this page to choose Top Sites.
  5. Once done, hit Add.

On the other hand, if you're using a Google Chrome, follow these:

  1. Click on the Customize and control Google Chrome icon and select Settings.
  2. Choose Privacy and security in the left pane, and then Site Settings.
  3. Click on Cookies and site data.
  4. In the Allow section, tick Add.
  5. Type in *intuit.com, then click on Add to save.

If issues persist, I suggest contacting our Customer Support team. This way, they can look into further research about this and give you the best resolution to it.
