Home Address With Fake Business Name Mailings

I keep getting Promotions from quickbooks in the mail. It is addressed to a company I have never heard of with my home address. This one says second notice on the envelope. Why is quickbooks doing this? I tried to call the number on the promotion, [Removed by Moderator], and of course it is a circular fiasco and I never got to speak to anyone.

Thanks.

Your security is our top priority, macc.

I'd suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team to check why you're receiving a mail addressed to a different company. They're also equipped with tools to determine the main cause of this.

QuickBooks Online:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us, then choose Get a callback.

QuickBooks Desktop:

  1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question window, scroll down to click the Contact us link.
  3. This will display the Contact Us screen.
  4. Go to the Tell us more about your question section to enter the issue or topic in the field box.
  5. Click the Search button to display the Start a Message button.

In case you're using other QuickBooks products, please see this article for the detailed steps: Contact QuickBooks Products and Services Support.

Additionally, I encourage visiting our Help articles page for reference. From there, you can read articles that will guide you in completing your future tasks.

Please come back and keep us posted on how it goes.  I'm always glad to help in any way I can.  Have a good one,

Thanks, I did a callback after the chat agent left me after 15 minutes. The agent said she would send the info to the back office to investigate.
