Let me share insights about being invited by the client to access QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA).
You can look for the client who sent you an invite through the email you provided them. Once you accept the invite, it's correct that you will be prompted to set up an account to access QBOA.
Check out the guides here if you need help tracking your clients: Manage clients in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Thank you so much for the help MelroseV. I am not sure if I am missing something but I am going around in circles. When I accept the link and it prompts me to set up a new account. As I have one set up already, I open that and will look through everything I can to see how I can link them. I am not sure if I am not understanding these videos, but the client already has a subscription and the other video shows how to manage users from the invite senders side. what am I missing? Thank you in advance
Good day, @lisamberry0-gmai.
Let me share additional details and help you on how to access the invitation given by your clients.
The insights my colleague provided were right, you can view the invite through your email, however, the moment you log in to that link you have to:
When you accept an invitation, QuickBooks will automatically connect you, and will be added to the firm as a client.
Furthermore, if you are unable to connect, don't worry. Here's an article for you to check if you are unable to accept their invitation.
I hope this helps! Feel free to stop by if you have more questions or concerns. Keep Safe!
