Hi! I need this report in QB desktop. Can you help me?
Hi there, @CarynW.
I hope all is well. You can customize a transaction report in QuickBooks Desktop to obtain a list of your invoices. This will allow you to view all your invoices and filter them for paid status. The steps below will show you how:
2. In the top left-hand corner, select Customize Report and go to the Filter tab.
3. Search for Transaction Type and choose Invoice.
4. Type Paid status in the search bar, then press Either, Closed, or Open.
5. Hit OK to view your custom report.
Now you have a report in Desktop where you can view your invoices. You can also check out this helpful article on customizing reports in QuickBooks Desktop for more information.
Feel free to comment below if you have any other questions. Take care!
is this availablein desktop Pro as I cannot find it, but would love to see it.
Yes, the Transaction List by Customer report is available in QuickBooks Desktop Pro, @Keba.
I can provide a bunch of steps to ensure the said report will appear. To start with, make sure your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is updated to the recent release so it has the latest features and fixes. Here's how to achieve this:
When the update finishes, close and reopen QBDT. Select Yes to install the updates. Then, restart your computer to refresh the system and apply all the needed patches.
For more details about it, please browse through this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop.
Next, let's run the QuickBooks Tool Hub to fix the program's unusual behavior. For optimal experience, I recommend using Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit. Once ready, here's how to proceed:
Finally, choose the Program Problems tab to resolve the issue you're having. For more insights, please see Step 2 from this handy resource: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
You may also customize the said report by following the steps given by my peer Anna S. Then, memorize it to save its current customization settings and quickly access it anytime.
If you have follow-up questions about this or any QuickBooks concerns, feel free to leave a comment below. I want to make sure everything is taken care of. Have a great day.
