In the meantime, we’re unable to retrieve a deleted recurring transaction in QuickBooks Online. As per Rustler, you can only recreate it. To do so, you’ll need to use the Audit log to get the details of the deleted transaction.
Here’s how:

In the audit logs, I can see that I made an edit to the recurring template on April 1st 2024 but cannot see the date it was deleted. Now what can I do?

The Audit Log feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a valuable tool for tracking and reviewing changes made in your account. It records details such as who made changes, what was changed, and when these changes occurred. It is beneficial for maintaining accurate records and understanding the history of your transactions and settings.
If the Audit Log only shows edits and not the deletion, the template may not have been deleted. We can double-check your recurring transactions to confirm.
Here's how:
If the issue persists, perform basic troubleshooting steps. Too much historical data can slow down loading times, and clearing it will resolve the problem.
First, access your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:
Once done, locate the recurring template again. If it works, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.
You can also return to the Audit Log later, as it updates with recent actions, including deletions, after troubleshooting.
Furthermore, click the View option under the History column in the Audit Log to see more details. It will display a detailed view of changes, including edits, deletions, or other modifications. It can help you better understand the recent actions taken and verify the status of your template.
