I've had a QB community account for 5 years & I no longer have access to the email it was initially registered under. I can't figure out how to recover that account. I had a lot of info there, I hate to have to start over.
You're in the right direction for assistance, @windyl0u.
I can guide you on how you can recover your QuickBooks Community account. I understand how you wanted to recover your account. To start, do you still remember the email address associated with it? If so, go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us and proceed to the steps below:
Once logged in, you can change your email address from there to the active one. However, if the issue persists, it's best to contact our Technical Support Team. Our phone support has specific tools that enable them to locate and recover your account securely. Here's how to get in touch with them:
Please ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available. This way, you can contact them at a time that is convenient for you. The article also contains a contact number at the bottom of the page if you prefer to dial them directly.
Once sorted out, you may check out our Help Articles. From there, you can look for a bunch of articles to help manage your company file.
If you have more questions about recovering the account or any QuickBooks-related concerns, feel free to reply. I'm just a few clicks away. Have a good one!
Gaining access to your old email address is the only way.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
