How can I use my card

There are possible reasons why your credit card is being declined, Jsmith.

 

Here are the following:

 

  • Invalid account number.
  • Expired credit card.
  • Over-limit or past due.
  • The billing address in QuickBooks Online doesn't match the address on your credit card statement.
  • Prepaid cards.
  • The issuing bank won't authorize the card electronically.
  • We do not accept prepaid cards due to our address verification process.
  • Credit card billing addresses must be based in the U.S. We currently do not accept credit cards with billing addresses from U.S. territories, such as American Samoa, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Once you have confirmed that your credit or debit card does not fall under the reasons listed above, you'll need to update or change your payment information. If the issue persists, contact your bank or credit card issuer to review the authorization process.
