I understand it can be frustrating when auto-fill doesn’t seem to work as expected, @candkescort2014. In QuickBooks, the auto-recall feature pre-fills transactions based on the last saved entry for the same customer, vendor, or employee. It will only work if there are no recommendations of items to add to the expense, and it doesn’t fill in the date.
For sales receipts or invoices, the auto-recall feature is a bit limited, as it only fills in the Location. If you need more details to be pre-filled regularly, you might want to set up a recurring transaction template. This is especially helpful if you often enter similar transactions for the same customers. For more details, please check this article: Use auto-recall to pre-fill transactions.
Additionally, please check if your browser's auto-fill feature is affecting how form data is displayed. In some cases, browser settings may auto-fill fields incorrectly, which can interfere with QuickBooks' functionality. If this is the issue, consider consulting a browser specialist to adjust your settings.
