- Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
- Right-click Intuit Data Protect and click Delete.
- Click the Windows logo.
- Go to Startup Folder.
- Right-click Intuit Data Protect and click Delete.
Once done, restart your computer, and the Intuit Data Protect should no longer launch. For detailed instruction, see this article: Disable Intuit Data Protect. It also contains steps if you have active subscription to Intuit Data Protect.
