Welcome to the Community page, mdwpsyd27. I'm here to help and ensure you can correct the typographical error in your QuickBooks post.

To edit a post you've made in the QuickBooks Community forum, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Community Profile in QuickBooks.

2. Enter your credentials. Once done, Intuit will send a verification code then, enter your password.

3. After that, locate and click it under the Replies or Post section.

4. Look for an Ellipsis icon.

5. Click on the Edit option, which will allow you to make changes to your post.

6. After making the necessary edits, save the changes.

To learn more about using QuickBooks Online, managing your account, and handling invoices and subscriptions, see this article for additional references: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your response. Let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. As always, feel free to reach out to the Community at any time. Take care, and enjoy the rest of your day!

Thank you for the very fast and helpful response. :0)

Many forums set a time limit for editing a post. I assume this QB Community forum does the same, but I could not find information on that. Is there a time limit? Or perhaps you can edit a post until someone replies, at which point your post cannot be edited?

Hello there. @mdwpsyd27. Let me give further insights about editing your posts here in the Community forum.

When you post on the Community platform, you have several options. You can give cheers to others' posts or replies and also join an existing thread. If you need to make any changes to your posts, the platform allows you to edit them even after posting them. Edit your posts once you sign in to your Community profile like my colleague mentioned above. At any time, you can make changes to your posts. It's also worth noting that you can edit your posts even after someone else has replied to them to update your post with new information or clarify your message.

On the other hand, to manage your subscription in QBO, visit this article as your preference: Upgrade or downgrade your QuickBooks Online edition

Reply below for more queries about posting here in the Community or any QuickBooks Online-related. I'm here to assist. Have a good one!

Hi  - Does anyone know if the editing a post option gone?  I no longer see that option in the drop down menus.

Hi there, Dav.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I can see how important it is to edit your post here in Community. I'm here to provide you with some insights into the recent changes we've made.

We recently had to remove the option for users to edit their posts due to some users taking advantage of it by directing others to potentially harmful websites. Therefore, if you wish to make any changes or add more information to your post, you can do so by replying to the original post.

If you need help removing personal information from a post, you can use the "Report Inappropriate Content" function to notify our moderation team. To do this, simply click on the (3) three vertical dots on the right side of the post and select "Report Inappropriate Content" from the drop-down menu.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions regarding posting in the Community or any other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm always here to help. Take care.
