How do I search this QuickBooks Support for answers applying ONLY to QuickBooks Online (vs QB Desktop)?

In reality, most of the answers that show up will be for QBO.

But the procedures are often pretty similar.  So just search for what you're looking for and see the post actually answers you questions.  You can also try adding Online as the first or last word to see if it narrows the search.

If that doesn't work, post your own question and see what kind of responses you get.  And just because one of us QBDT users answer, just slightly modify what buttons to click for QBO.  Then see if the procedure given doesn't really answer your question.

Thanks for your reply Pete_Mc. I had been looking for an answer to a specific question and all the answers applied to Desktop so I was getting frustrated and figured I'd ask if there was an easy way to filter for just QBO stuff. My experience has been that a lot of the questions/answers I find in general (not just for this question) refer to QBD. I did try adding "online" to the query and that doesn't seem to make a difference. Even when I search in Google and put "Quickbooks online" in quotes in the search query I still get all the QBD answers.

So I guess I'm still wondering if there is an easy way to filter for just QBO related content. And if there isn't, that would be a feature that I think would be very useful.

In the meantime, I will post my specific question.

Thanks again.

And what is the question?  There's a chance I may know.

And I'll add one other thought/comment...  If it very specific to where a Transaction should go or how to enter some bizarre transaction.  My first response to everyone is to ask their Tax Accountant.  None of us here really know you company or what tax regs you need to deal with in your city, state or with the IRS.  But if it's a purely "how to" one of us should be able to answer it.  Even if you can't find the answer by searching.

Thanks @MonicaM3. I do realize you can drill down, which is good, but still not the same as being able to search and filter for a specific product. There are many instances where this option would be much preferred. Often when I'm looking for help, it's a complicated situation that is very hard to find in a generic topic. My original question was simply "can we filter our searches for QBO" and the answer seems to be a resounding "no." So I got my answer. Not the one I wanted, but that's the way it rolls sometimes. ;) Thanks again and hopefully Intuit will consider implementing this feature some day.
