How do I stop the constant bombardment of advertising on QBO?

I am paying a lot of money for Quickbooks online advanced every month and am getting worn down by the constant bombardment of advertising and upselling on Quickbooks Online.  It has gone from annoying to infuriating. Everytime I mark a bill as paid there is a popup trying to get me to give 2.9% of my revenue to Quickbooks.  If you ask me once that is fine but it seems like the strategy now is to make the popups constant until you make people cave and signup.  Is there anyway to turn this off?

How do I stop the constant bombardment of advertising on QBO?

Thanks for reaching out to us here, LukeAtWork.

I'd also feel the same if this happens to me.

Ads creates awareness of the new features offered in your QuickBooks Online account. While we're unable to completely turn it off, you can click the X or No, thanks button. This will opt out the ads from showing up again.

@RenjolynC I am fine it if shows me a few times but it is now constant for the same ads on every bill and invoice screen.  I keep clicking the "X" and it goes away the next bill I go to it pops up again. Ever single bill I look at or enter it shows me the picture attached, I can't make it leave me alone.  Attached is the ad I can't get rid of.  I am also getting the "Get paid upfront" ad on each invoice I create.

I appreciate you reaching out to our support for assistance, LukeAtWork.

The ads in QuickBooks are designed to guide you on how to optimize your QuickBooks Online experience. The steps provided by my colleague above are the workaround we can do for now to remove the pop-ups that show up.

What I recommend is submitting feedback directly to our Product Developers about removing this ad. To submit your feedback, click on the Gear icon, then Feedback. I'll also pass along your experience here on my end to support your concern.

Also, I'll add our Help article to know more about the pop-up advertisement that displays on your page.

Let me know if you have any other questions by adding a comment below. I'm a post away to help. Have a nice day!

Please, stop advertising to your paid users within your software.

I do not know whose idea it was, but it is an awful practice. A lot of the things offered to me are not even relevant.

Bombard my email, fine. You could even send me text messages. But why within the software?

I agree. As a paying customer, we should be able to turn off the ads. Not only are we paying a premium price for the online software, the ads slow done the productivity of my employees. If this continues, I may look at alternatives after being with Quickbooks for years. It's a sad day when company's put advertising before customers.

Unfortunately it will never stop. It probably works well for them. They're big enough that they can count on the naiveness of a few users. If even 1 in every 1000 users signs up by misunderstanding or accidentally clicking a product, it's a win for them. They never have and never will care about the existing customers. The mobile app itself is almost impossible to use. I try to create invoices on ipad or iphone and I basically get popups (do you want your money now or later?) Got forbid you click now, they've signed you up for a service. Try and cancel and they'll give you a reason why you can't. Intuit is absolutely awful on every level for every one of their products. They should be ashamed but they aren't and wont be in the future.

I'd pay 10 more a month to make this go away.... So frustrating.

This is not the experience we want you to have. May I suggest you hit the x button to remove it?

Get this out of here.

100% this is hugely annoying and somewhat insulting. We should not have to shoot down ads on every single invoice, let alone all the others that are constantly appearing

This is loan sharking at its finest. If you're going to keep giving me advertisements to purchase more junk I don't need then I expect a discount. No - I don't need your insurance or your loans. I do not want your products, I hate QBO so much - please let me know if there's a better product out there, this is getting infuriating.
