How do you change a phone number that is listed on 1099s?

I’m grateful to see you here in the Community, @johnfteel. I’ll provide you steps how to change personal information registered in 1099s in QuickBooks Online.

If you haven’t edited your phone number yet in the Company and Settings, here’s how:

1. From the Gear icon, click Accounts and Settings.
2. Choose a Company.
3. Change your phone number in the Contact Info section.

Once done, try reprocessing the 1099 form.

If the phone number is not altered, then you may need to submit additional documents. I would suggest contacting payroll support to update your business and information.

That has the company phone number.  The one that is printing on the 1099's is the cell number of our pro-adviser in the office.  This is not okay to be given to our clients to contact regarding 1099's.
