how do you edit a customer type? We already have customer types set up but want to change the naming protocol used.

Editing a customer type in QuickBooks Online(QBO) is straightforward and can be done with just a few clicks, john_h. Let’s go through the steps together!

 

Here’s how you can easily update the naming protocol for your existing customer types:

 

  1. Navigate to the Sales menu.
  2. Click Customers.
  3. Hit the Customer types.

  4. Select the specific customer type and click Edit.
  5. Make the necessary changes, then hit Save.
