Hi -
How do you edit a post made on the QuickBooks Community site? In the past, I thought you just click on the three dots near the right of your post and you'll see a drop down menu. I believe Edit was an option. However, currently it seems that Edit is not longer in the menu choices.
They removed the feature. I don't know why.
Hello @Dav, How are you doing today?
We have removed the feature that allows users to edit their posts on the QuickBooks Community page recently. This decision was made due to the actions of a few users who were trying to direct others to potentially dangerous websites.
If you need to make any changes or add more information to your post, please post a reply to the original post. However, if you need the post edited to remove any personal information, you can use the Report Inappropriate Content function. To use this function, click on the three vertical dots that appear to the right of the post in the Community and select Report Inappropriate Content from the drop-down menu.

How does removing the Edit option prevent users from being directed to "potentially dangerous websites"? Users can just create a new post to do that. Not sure how the Edit option prevents it. It's unfortunate that QB decided to remove the Edit option.
Hi @VoltF and QuickBooks Team -
Can the QuickBooks Community Team give back the ability for a person to edit their post?
We use to have this option in the past to edit our posts.
Sometimes, I want to edit my posts to clarify my question or correct a typo.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
