How dp I show a complete running balance for each line item on the bank register vs n/a in the balance column which I don't want?

How can Ido the same report with Desktop?

It's still located in the Reports menu, CarynSilvius. 

Let me show you the easy steps: 

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
2. Go to the Reports menu.
3. Hover to Accountant and Taxes.
4. Select General Ledger. 
5. Click the Customize Report button to filter and pull up the data you need. 
6. Select OK. 

You can also save the report so you don't need to filter it again. Just click the Memorize button at the menu. Memorized reports are now moved in the Memorized Report List.
