How to add photos to inventory item?

Currently, adding photos to each inventory item is unavailable. You can only attach an image or another file type to a transaction like an invoice. You can attach documents in QuickBooks that have a paperclip icon. To attach a document, please follow the steps below.

1. Click Company on the upper menu.
2. Select Documents.
3. Add or Scan a Document. 
4. Click Close. 

You can also attach documents in your item list. Here's how:

1. Click Lists on the upper menu.
2. Select Item Lists.
3. Click the box under the Attachment column beside Price.
4. Click Done.

In addition to Fiat Lux - ASIA, QBDT is the acronym of QuickBooks Desktop.

I am confused. I am looking at my Quickbooks desktop inventory information screen and see a place to put in a photo. See the attached 

cumbersome way to add a document.

it's high time that QB add the ability to attach a photo to an inventory item.. 

2021 and no picture available in QBD .. incredible.

Currently, QuickBooks Desktop is unable to add a product photo. I'd encourage you to send feedback about this. This way, they can assess and put it under consideration.

I would also like this feature.  It helps clients understand what they are purchasing, when there are multiple line items on an invoice!!

While we are unable to make any advice as to which app you should use to add photos to your QuickBooks products and services, I urge that you look at our website for any accessible apps.

Here's how:

1. Log on to QuickBooks Desktop marketplace.
2. Search/find the app you want to use.
3. Open the app.
4. Click get app now if you're decided.

Are you using QB Desktop or QB Online? Are you a wholesaler company?

2022 Enterprise Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition - I don't see an option to add a photo (except as an attachment).  Will the attachment populate if I run an inventory Item List?  Will it populate if I'm using a QR or Bar Code Scanner?  As advanced as Quickbooks is, I'm surprised this is still not an option

I recognize how relevant adding a photo to an inventory item to your business is. As mentioned above, this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop.

In the meantime, you can only attach an image or attach documents in QuickBooks that have a paperclip icon to a transaction like an invoice. Aside from that, the attachment will not populate if you run an inventory Item List or if you're using a QR or Bar Code Scanner. 

At times, we roll out enhancements based on our customer's requests. That being said, I suggest sending a recommendation to our product developers. They'll review this idea and might consider updating it in the future.

Here's how:

1. Proceed to Help.
2. Select Send Feedback Online, then Product Suggestion.
3. Fill in the form, then click Send Feedback.
