Welcome to the Community, @teresa-rebellion. I’ll help you with correcting your 1099s in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I understand the importance of correcting 1099s form right away to avoid having errors with your filings.
If you haven’t filed your 1099s yet, you can make the amendments and submit them to the IRS. On the other hand, if you have already filed the forms, you’ll need to work directly with the IRS. That way, you can manually make the amendments to your 1099 forms together with them.
Kindly see this link for the IRS instructions about making changes to your 1099s forms. Once corrected, the updated return must be submitted to the recipient or contractor.
You can view this article to learn more about the steps of correcting or changing 1099s with different subscriptions.

To correct Type 1 errors, file the correct form with the correct amount, code, checkbox, name or address and check the “CORRECTED” box (generally located at the top of the form). Send the corrected form to the recipient and prepare the red Copy A to send to the IRS with the Form 1096 transmittal if paper filing.
